Mrs. Marah Vasquez Estuesta, known as Teacher Marah to many children and families, has been passionately teaching preschool for over 25 years. A graduate of the University of the Philippines Los Baños with a major in Educational Communication, she began her career at PROSEC, leading personality development, communication, and academic enrichment workshops for schools. Teacher Marah later took Master of Arts in Education, major in Teaching the Early Grades from the University of the Philippines Diliman, and then earned a Master in Management major in Educational Management from the Philippine Christian University.

Her additional training includes certifications in Early Childhood Education from the Multiple Intelligence Institute in Beijing, Caring for Children with Special Needs from the UP Open University, and Childhood Education from the Rabbi Theological Seminary and International Ministries.

She trained under Kindermusik International and Kindermusik Philippines, where her program was recognized among the top 5% globally, earning the Maestro Mezzanine Level distinction.  Additionally, as a licensed Handwriting Without Tears teacher, she brings unique, international programs to her students, enriching their learning experiences with proven, high-quality approaches.

Currently, she is an officer of the Association of Las Piñas Private Schools, and she frequently contributes as a consultant, speaker, and resource person in the field of Early Childhood Education. Teacher Marah is also a proud wife to businessman Richard and mother of three children.

Teacher Marah is fondly called “TM” by her employees, some of whom have been with the school for almost 20 years.  She began as an employee herself, when the school was founded in 2002.  Recognizing her passion and belief in the school’s vision, the original owners entrusted the school to her which she acquired in 2005.  When the pandemic hit in 2020, Teacher Marah bravely met the challenges head-on, managing to keep the school open while many preschools were closing down.  With the assistance of NEO-Learning Management System (LMS) by Cypher Learning, she had the school seamlessly shift to online learning during this crucial period, while still able to maintain interactive and hands-on learning for the students. (Watch the video: How Mindbuilders seamlessly shifted to virtual learning during the pandemic). Though learning has shifted back to in-person, the school still maintains the LMS as a platform for updates and continuity of lessons in the event of any disruption of classes.

As the Administrator of Mindbuilders Preschool, a Multiple Intelligence preschool, Teacher Marah champions an approach that celebrates each child’s unique learning style fostering a well-rounded and engaging educational experience. By recognizing varied intelligences—linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist —Teacher Marah designs activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, confidence, and a joy for learning. This philosophy extends to social responsibility projects, where students apply their unique strengths to help the community, learning early on to make a positive impact. This philosophy not only supports every child’s potential but also nurtures a collaborative, supportive and growth-oriented culture among staff, leading to collective success and individual growth.
